Jumping Jehoshaphat’s Jay that is one awe inspiring episode!!!!! Your Doctor Puppet ( I see what you did there) is phenomenal and the Molek is as cute as a button.

Technically the episode is amazing; the backgrounds look awesome, particularly the cave set. I know you’ve indicated that you use 3d software to render some of your sets while using photography for the others, but jeeze that cave (and the Dalek in it) looks like you snuck a Tennent dalek into a Tom Bakerera BBC set.

My lady almost died watching the Tate ending…. She is showing all the signs of adopting the “Who are you, what is this place” line as a temporary catch phrase… similar to the way she did with the “you’re so Hawt” bit back in the Buddyana Jones saga.

Personally as much as I can find to like about the episode it is the sound that jumps out at me this time. Your Dalek sounds great and whomever did your Doctor was top shelf! I almost thought you clipped dialogue from the show but I am fairly sure he has never so much as said “Clever little Beeeevah” anyplace. I’ll have to check my DVD’s to be sure though.

You should really put that version of the theme you did up as a separate download…. It rocked. The slow sort of build up with the guitar was sweet and it has a nice heavy feel without going crazy.

Anyway great work on this episode, Looks like you guys work on the reverse limbo philosophy with your films….. you keep raising the bar!

    Dr. Awesome.

Brilliant! I’ve never seen fan fiction like it! Very well done Jay, it’s a quality effort.

Incidentally, I’m a reviewer for the long-running fan fiction series ‘The Doctor Who Project’ (see http://www.thedoctorwho project.com) and I’m currently researching various examples of fan fiction. Rest assured I’ll be mentioning your work in any future articles. WELL DONE!!

    Jez

Greetings fellow Whovians, I like yur films but u need less animals and more people doing stuff. THe doctor is cool but no way would a bever work as a champion.

    Eli.

  • 99acrewoods says:

Well admittedly its not for everyone. Since our films are about animals we always try and work that theme into our pieces. thanks for watching though! We will have more Doctor who not in 99 Acre Woods later this year and next year so stay tuned.

    Jay

Dude that is awesome. Would you be opposed to having this shown on the convention circuit?

  • David Nagel says:

you’re videos r funny. U should put them on youtube so people will find them. I really like the bare but he does not get to do as much as the beaver.

I really do not like dr who but scifi is fun so you should do something good and american instead of brittish like star trek, andromeda or lexx.

    terry.

I loved this. Very well done.
My 5 year old daughter was thrilled to see a puppet Doctor and Daleks.

I hope you do some similar episodes.

    Again… great work.

  • 99acrewoods says:

We will be doing several more episodes of Doctor who over the next year I hope you both enjoy them! Thank you for the kind words.

  • 99 Acre Woods is a dilapidated national forest that has been abandoned. During its glory days it spanned thousands of acres. Now, it is a wasteland, an Alcatraz of the national forests. Once you are left there, you are stuck there.
